Before it takes its first breath, a human baby has been through an incredible transformation...From a single cell to a complex, self-sustaining organism. With ground-breaking photography, computer graphics, and 4-D imaging, In the Womb reveals this amazing process as the first heart cells begin to beat, the nerve cells flicker to life, and the senses develop. Watch National Geographics In the Womb, September 19, 2007. Check your local listing for time and channel.

Interesting...I wonder if they’re going to push the old ontogenic recapitulation theory, or if they’ve caught up with the times.

In the Womb: Multiples "Egg and sperm meet and spark a perilous journey of fetal development, but what if there are two, three or even four along for the ride? In the Womb: Multiples, a two-hour special, utilizes groundbreaking technology to take viewers into the extraordinary world of twins, triplets and quadruplets as they develop in utero. The special follows the stories of three expectant mothers from conception to birth and travels inside the womb to see the tiny fetuses begin to interact with each other."
This is another one that may be airing again. Aired previously in June.

What is 4-D imaging? "Research shows that seeing realistic surface images of the unborn baby provides an emotional connection. Something magical happens when you see 3D & 4D live motion images compared to a regular 2D image, because the pictures of the baby are more realistic
almost like a real-life photograph! With 4D scan the baby can now be seen yawning, sucking, smiling, stretching and performing intricate finger movements. The 3D/4D scanning is just as safe as the conventional (2D black and white) ultrasound imaging."
"The scans are performed from 18-38 weeks, though the optimum time is between 24-34 weeks."
To the best of my knowledge the 4D is that there is motion picture in 3D. The 3D is a still shot, if I understand it correctly.

OK...What is 4-D imaging? I don't know. But the 'It's OK to murder children' crowd is going to hate it.

I’ve seen this program and it is EXCELLENT! You CANNOT watch this and then still believe that life doesn’t begin at conception.

It still tears my heart that alive little ones at this same age are routinely slaughtered in the name of 'choice' defended by the obsequious democrats for their political empowerment: [ http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/inthewomboriginal/gallery_06.html#pic ]

This preview states the broadcast is to take place on Sunday, the 16th of September. Was your initial post in error on this point?

I’m glad you started a thread on this. Hopefully this show will help people see and embrace the pro-life message that life really does begin at conception.
