Renu, born and brought up in Britain, is the daughter of “global activist” Vijay Mehta. “Fortune Forum is about philanthropy with a heart, a mind and plenty of muscle,” she says.
Apart from Clinton, others speakers at the launch event — the Fortune Forum Summit — will include the actor Michael Douglas and new age guru Deepak Chopra. Tickets aren’t cheap — £1,000 each. But entertainment will include Yusuf Islam, the artist previously known as Cat Stevens.
