I'm surprised it didn't say "police allegedly found pipe bombs".
Maybe he did produce the video and maybe he didn't. If he did, it should be fairly easy to prove.
What bothers me is the part that says - "According to officials familiar with the case, Mohamed has been arrested previously in Egypt on terrorism-related charges."
If he was arrested on terror related charges, why would we allow him into the country? Did we miss this, or is there some other reason for granting him a student visa?
I believe they were under investigation before the car was stopped and searched.
George Bush has made us less safe from terrorism, haven’t you heard? And terrorism is a bumper sticker.
The authorities probably used (KEYWORD) DOMESTIC spying, phone tapping to terrorize many innocent Americans before it led to the arrest of these poor students.
Why would you want to vacation in NC over Fl. anyways?
Perhaps there was a particularly friendly mosque in NC with a particularly well-stocked armory in the basement that they wanted to visit?
Just guessing, of course.
Editors are aware of liability laws and that particular wording will probably keep them from being included in any upcoming trials.
Give us your tired, your poor, your terrorists...
