A group of southern states tried this in the 19th Century and were invaded by a group of northern states who wanted the southern states to buy their tariff protected expensive industrial goods. Are southerners just sore losers?

Are southerners just sore losers? Southerners at that time made the mistake of thinking that the populations of the northern states could A. Read and B. Understand the US Constitution. A mistake the present Southerners are unlikely to repeat.
