I am reading his book right now. I am starting to really like Mike Huckabee. He is an impressive candidate and with no major negatives. I can only hope he can raise enough money to be competitive.

Haven’t read it, but I like Mike, too. We’ll see if he gets any traction in NH; he’s only got honest talent working for him. I think he is sincere, but, even as this thread shows, he doesn't’t have any big consensus yet.

His record in Arkansas is not exactly a positive.

is an impressive candidate and with no major negatives.
When he left the governorship, he left behind NO Republicans in high state offices, nor could he help deliver the governorship to a Republican successor. It is highly doubtful he would even carry the purple-turning-blue state of Arkansas in the general election.

His major negative is he likes illegal aliens.

He raised taxes as governor. A lot.
And there was his recent snafu with banning public smoking: nanny-statism at its finest.
