have no problem if a skilled and talented teacher who happened to be homosexual taught my children provided he or she was not radicalized or weaved their political agenda into the classroom.
If allowed, yes.
Throughout most of the 20th century (at least till the 80's), my guess would be at least 5 per cent of teachers were gay.
However, at that time, the "closet" wasn't open and it certainly wasn't cool.

If a homosexual defined himself by perverted acts then no, I do not want him in the classroom. But the reality is is that most do not, just as you and I define ourselves as more than just our own sexual preferences. History is replete with great minds and teachers whose sexual preference while may be abhorent, they were great teachers nonetheless. Ever hear of Socrates?
