I’ve been telling anyone who will listen the same thing for years. Chinese products are dangerous to your physical and economic health, and doom on all of the companies that have off-shored their manufacturing facilities to China, threatening the lives of Americans for the sake of profits. Doom on them and China!
I have had a self-imposed ban on all Chinese electrical products since a cheap set of Chinese Christmas lights nearly burned down my house in 1993.
I threw out the set that was burned, and plugged in another, to test them, and they burned as well. Brand new out of the box.
