For Mitt to quote his religious tenants on government would be a grave mistake on his part.

This election is not about moralty or religion. It is about the security of our nation and its future as a world becon for political, social and economic freedom.

Ok, I'll play nice, I could care less if Mitt is a Mormon.

I have friends who are LDS, but I do not discuss theology with them.

I think The Constitution of The United States is divinely blessed.

"Wherefore, honest men and wise men should be sought for diligently, and good men and wise men ye should observe to uphold; otherwise whatsoever is less than these cometh of evil." D&C 98:10

The LDS church was persecuted in its early years, but people
who opposed them were right to oppose polygamy in the Mormon religion.

I think that experience translates into First Amendment support from Mormons but it also leads to a get along “moderate” mentality to avoid the conflicts of the church’s early years.

At the grassroots many LDS Church people are very conservative but leadership like in our own goverment changes the rules to get along.

The LDS Church is in some ways a microcosm of the nation as a whole. Very conservative grassroots and a moderate get-along leadership class.

Romney is a liberal plain and simple, but he will say anything he thinks can get him elected.

You might also wish to include two of the Articles of Faith:
11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

12 We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.

Mitt’s religion didn’t affect his pro-abortion beliefs, why would it impact the constitutional views? He has a history of switching positions to suit the next election. He’s a great speaker, but I don’t trust his positions.

when the wicked rule the people mourn.

How true. The generation that grew up when Bill said "it wasn't sex" is having sex at a much earlier age and with far more partners.
