I have friends who are LDS, but I do not discuss theology with them.

The LDS church was persecuted in its early years, but people
who opposed them were right to oppose polygamy in the Mormon religion.
I think that experience translates into First Amendment support from Mormons but it also leads to a get along “moderate” mentality to avoid the conflicts of the church’s early years.
At the grassroots many LDS Church people are very conservative but leadership like in our own goverment changes the rules to get along.
The LDS Church is in some ways a microcosm of the nation as a whole. Very conservative grassroots and a moderate get-along leadership class.
Romney is a liberal plain and simple, but he will say anything he thinks can get him elected.

Mitt’s religion didn’t affect his pro-abortion beliefs, why would it impact the constitutional views? He has a history of switching positions to suit the next election. He’s a great speaker, but I don’t trust his positions.
How true. The generation that grew up when Bill said "it wasn't sex" is having sex at a much earlier age and with far more partners.
