Unfortunately, this writer firmly believes that absolutely nothing will be done about this national crisis until the next innocent victim is the family member of a politician or a celebrity.

The Drunk driving laws in TN were very lax until a judge's pregnant daughter was killed by a many times repeated drunk driver..then the laws got changed to be a little more in line with what they should be...still to lax by my assessment.

Being that the upper crust political, civil rights and business leaders that force this travesty on us, the suffering American people out here in flyover country, are safely for the most part ensconsed in heavily secured, gated communities, their kids heading for expensive Ivy League schools, I doubt few if any of them will suffer murder at the hands of these invading scum. But you are right, when and only when that starts to happen, will there be real change in the areas of both immediate border shut down and massive deportations (or situation created that would force deportations on their own).

We have a long way to go, and much more suffering and many more funerals.

Wasn’t a politician and his son killed out in CA by illegals? I remember something about a politician and drunk illegal.
