An unbelievably brave and heroic American patriot; one of those loathed by the Clintons and their ilk.
Sorry, I was trying to get it out quickly so people could get on to see it. He is the sole survivor from the operation that killed 11 Navy SEALs and 8 other special ops guys (I think those are the numbers) in June ‘05. He did write a GREAT book called Lone Survivor, about the experience, and the guys he knew who died.
A shame he chose to go on O’Reilly.
A combat soldier? The Bush Administration is probably working on a way to imprison him.

His team was wiped out because they chose not to eliminate some Afghani goat herders who stumbled upon their operation. By Luttrell’s account they were worried about the political consequences, and paid with their lives.

He was on the Laura Ingraham radio show recently. Sounds like it should be a good book. I hope the interview is on the website later tonight.
Try reading the book. He’d shoot you if he heard you say that. He loves Pres. Bush.
The interview was way too short; hopefully OReilly will have him on again. One thing I dislike about these shows, are the “2-minute” segments instead of at least a meaningful 5-10 minute segment.

These men chose a path that other men chose not to take. Covert ops or recon/snatch/hunter-killer operations make you decide between two bad choices sometimes.
May God help him find peace for defending our country and living bravely with the consequences of his decision.
I am humbled to have such a brave man defending my family and me. All men that have seen war know how much of himself was buried with his men.
O'Reilly supports our troops and their mission. I'm pleased that he is having Marcus Luttrell as a guest. I missed the first airing but I'll catch it later this evening.
My point was that many here don’t watch O’Reilly, anymore, after his “Hate Site” proclamations.
