Consider the source. This scumbag of a political hack is a disgrace —even to the most liberal of the Donkey miscreants.
And, the way things political are moving in San Diego these days, the (once lovely) city probably deserves him!
Filner is truly the scum off the pond — a despicable pol of the first order!

He supposedly responded: Im not going until I get my bag. Youre treating us like animals. Rep. Filner thinks he's so special.
I hope the judge throws him in jail.

A misdemeanor in VA?? Drat, I've wasted some golden opportunities. But then, I've got a soon-to-be-ex-son-in-law that is in need of some "career couseling."
Then I'll repent and give thanks that I waited until no witnesses were present....8~)

California Rep. Bob Filner (D) was facing charges Monday for allegedly assaulting an airline worker at Dulles International Airport after becoming upset that his luggage had not arrived at a baggage carousel.

Hey, if it’s OK for “Patches” to assault a security guard at the airport, why not for Filner? It’s not his fault he’s not a Kennedy.

The eight-term lawmaker faced considerable criticism in the four-candidate Democratic primary last year after a long-time rival accused him of
corruption for supporting a Mexican water-treatment company that gave him large contributions. He also has paid his wife more than a half million dollars for campaign consulting, a practice that is legal. Click here to read the story on payments to Jane Filner.
Filner is sole client of spouse's unregistered consulting business

U.S. Rep. Bob Filner has paid at least $505,000 in campaign funds to his wife for political consulting services since 1995. For the past five years she has run her unregistered business out of their condominium in Washington, D.C.
U.S. Rep. Bob Filner
Filner has properly reported the payments to his wife's business, called Campaign Resources, on his campaign statements. He also has filed annual financial disclosure reports stating that his wife earns an undisclosed salary as a "self-employed consultant."

Bob Filner, Democrat, is a registered Socialist just like John Conyers and other members of the "Progressive Caucus."
Unfortunately, only Death herself has a chance of beating Bob for reelection in that district.

Baggage claim wait times at Dulles are awful: 30-45 minutes, and sometimes more than an hour, waiting at the carousel. And that’s after taking 15-20 minutes to get to baggage claim from the outlying terminals on shuttle buses. Filner got treated as every other post-9/11 traveler...like crap. Welcome to the DMV, “Mr. Progressive.” Oh, and you’re a $h!tty congressman, too.
