He got threatened by the Virginia Attorney General for sending undercover agents to Virginia gun stores with the intention of violating federal law (straw purchases.)

This all comes down to NYC being able to outspend a small business owner in court. Even if NYC didn't win they could litigate these businesses out of business.

Bingo. This is why this is so dangerous. Government running rampant will later do this to political opponents.

I have never figured out why the “straw buyers” were not charged, a sporting goods store in our town was sued and went out of business rather than cave in to these a-holes, they could not afford to fight the “great state of new york”. as far as I know the nra never offered to help in any way, that is part of the reason that I will quit sending them my money and join the VCLD instead
