A Lubbock man is dead after police say he was stabbed to death in a West Lubbock business. Police say the homicide happened around 6 Thursday night at Fred's Gun Emporium on Slide Rd. They say 66-year-old Wayne Knox and another person were arguing inside the business when the fight turned deadly. The unidentified person stabbed Knox once in the stomach and was transported to UMC where he later died. Police say they do have a person detained for questioning in this homicide, but no charges have been filed. They tell us the suspect and victim did know eachother, but a motive has not been established. Police say the victim worked off-and-on at the Emporium and he was good friends with the owner. We'll keep you updated as details come in.

Why would they take the "unidentified man" to the hospital when it was Kmox that was stabbed? (Do jounalists actually take an English grammer course?)
