So glad I moved from neighboring Prince George’s County where a crackdown on illegal immigration would never happen.

BTW, Prince George’s county has the second highest crime rate in Maryland, right after Baltimore City. Similar demographics and politics. Go figure.

So far I am real pleased with Leopold’s policies here in Anne Arundel County. My vote was not a waste, like it was for so many years in PG County.

I like AA County. Live in Howard county now. Howard’s not bad, actually, I like it a lot. It’s more liberal than AA, but not to the point of projectile vomiting, either, and nowhere near as bad as PG or Montco, or Baltimore City. Baltimore County is OK as well.

Two arrested in schoolyard slayings, another suspect sought

... One of the two arrested Saturday -- Rodolfo Godinez -- was described as a "principal player" in the schoolyard slayings.

Police had been seeking Rodolfo Godinez, 24, in connection with the schoolyard shootings.

Godinez -- a 24-year-old Nicaraguan immigrant -- was arrested in Prince George's County, Maryland, near Washington, D.C., law enforcement sources said.

His younger half-brother also was arrested a short time later Woodbridge, Virginia.

"It was a really dramatic and intense pursuit," said Dave Turner, spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service.

Godinez was seized at what was described as a "flophouse" for day laborers, and he is being held in the county jail. Eight other men were in the house, police said.
