I wonder which will come first - An attack on Iran of China dumping their dollars. If China wishes to hurt the U.S. without going to war, this would be a prime moment!
But at that point, the Chinese could kiss their export wealth good-bye, because the first thing we would do if they unloaded their dollars is to close our ports to Chinese goods. How do you say, “Be careful what you wish for” in Chinese? I think a swift, devastating attack on Iran might take care of several problems at once, not the least of which is the Chinese supplying the Iranians with waeapons and missile parts.
