A Guatemalan man who is in the United States illegally was arrested early yesterday on hit-and-run charges after a traffic accident that killed two men and injured three other highway construction workers on the side of U.S. 29 in Montgomery County, police said.

How many times must this scenerio be repeated?
:::::::
Until we have a President and a Congress that respect our borders and our laws, and see the need to protect the people of America against illegal invaders.
Till then, keep digging graves and wasting vast amounts of taxpayer dollars.
This is going to go on until the Politicians realize that the cost of the dead bodies piling up exceeds the cost of dealing with the problem.
I gotta think that it is going to be very hard for anybody to get elected to anything while supporting open illegal immigration and amnesty policies.
He must have just plowed into them. D@!mn. He killed two and injured 3 road construction workers.
How many times has he been deported already?
Yet Rudy comes out for citizenship to illegal aliens.
I’ve heard this being discussed on a couple of radio shows this morning, but so far no one seems to have a definitive answer to whether or not he was, is, a supporter of amnesty.
If it turns out he is, and supported it as mayor of NY, it could be a problem for his campaign.
You and I wish. As long as both parties put up candidates who treat the issue as secondary, or with benign neglect, as they have done in the past, there's no real alternative. Hillary will give it lip service, but wants to build an unbreakable Dem welfare constituency. On the Republican side, aside from Tancredo and Hunter, its treated a bit better, but its hard for me to believe it will be treated as one of the major issues facing the country by the eventual candidate.
Until its the politicians dead bodies, they ain’t gonna care.
What can we do about it? Heres my standard post.
RICO Citizen Recourse
Private persons and entities may initiate civil suits to obtain injunctions and treble damages against enterprises that conspire to or actually violate federal alien smuggling, harboring, or document fraud statutes, under the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO). The pattern of racketeering activity is defined as commission of two or more of the listed crimes. A RICO enterprise can be any individual legal entity, or a group of individuals who are not a legal entity but are associated in fact, and can include nonprofit associations.
Heres what Ive been pushing: its time to file Racketeering, Influencing, and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) lawsuits.
RICO lawyers could turn it around in a few years and MAKE MONEY at the same time. Im surprised they havent done it already.
In the absence of enforcement, we can get the word out in the meantime that there is money to be made in filing RICO lawsuits against employers who hire illegal aliens like this jerk.
Employers would have no trouble shutting down the border if they could get sued by someone under the RICO statutes for hiring these people in the first place. The next time an illegal alien kills someone in a drunk driving accident or somesuch thing, Im going to point out that the victims family might be able to seek compensation from the employer under these statutes in the hopes that it would catch on. If this did catch on, would see such a swift backlash against illegal immigration that no employer would go near these people and theyll all simply want to go back home.

I contacted the ACLJ about this but they passed.
Roooooty on immigration:
Immigration
Once again taking sharp exception with the dominant conservative wing of his own party, Mr. Giuliani said in an interview that the proposed crackdown on illegal immigrants was deliberately intended to play to the publics worst fears of foreigners and did not take into consideration the positive effects of immigrants on cities like New York.

Mayor Rudolph Giuliani struck a blow for decency and common sense when he criticized Congresss proposed crackdown on both legal and illegal immigrants .
Some of what the Mayor finds disturbing emerged from a Republican-dominated panel on immigration reform that issued its recommendations in June. Mr. Giuliani was right to characterize key parts of the package as pandering to an irrational fear of foreigners.

The Mayor did not mention the Republican Party by name and said in an interview later that he was not singling out his party or fellow politicians. Still, his defense of the United Nations achievements and of immigrants contribution to the nation marked the latest in a series of attempts by Mr. Giuliani to set himself apart from the newly dominant conservative wing of the Republican majority. Many of those Republicans want to end or cut back financing to the U.N. and favor severe immigration restrictions.

.

.

.
Support the use of interpreters and translators in city government

.
Oppose making English the official language of the U.S.
Support adding alienage to protected class under Citys Human rights Law.

Let me hasten to add though, if Rudy is the nominee come Nov. 2008 I’ll be voting for him.
I continue to have faith in our political system, at least so far as selecting a President. I’m content to watch and wait. Let’s see what happens if and when the two come face-to-face in a debate.
I am truly amazed by the choices we as Republicans have for a nominee.
It's worse than that...according to Congressman Steve King's office (R-Iowa); illegals kill 25 Americans; men, women, and children; day in, day out. As of 9/11/2007; that total will have reached 54,750 Americans KILLED by illegals since 9/11. No one seems to care. People who employ illegals should face jail time...a fine just won't do it. They won't come to this country if there are NO JOBS FOR THEM. SImple as that. Employ illegals...go to jail. ...and for you doing business with those companies? Shame on you. American blood is on your hands.
