Those who read the full article may well be as surprised as I was at the balance in this piece. This subject has usually positioned anyone with opposing sentiments to the gay agenda as knuckle draggers who just don't get it. This article does NOT do that; in fact, it gives Garza of the opposition the last word which is downright fascinating.

Because the last quote in a news article is usually seen as the "takeaway" and the point of view that is the "right" one, that's why. For the Times (whose reporters and editors are significantly homosexual) this is indeed a departure from their usual.
I posted this as more a story about the Times than the idiots in Montgomery County.
