According to the Apostle Paul's inspired writing, we are negligent and disobedient Christians if we fail to regularly pray for our government and it's leaders. If the Roman Christians were commanded to pray for their wicked pagan Caesars, how much more often and fervently should we pray for a Christian leader such as our President?
President Bush is not popular and is under severe criticism even from his own party, but I believe he is trying to carry out out what he believes is the will of God in the realm of US governmental and military matters. If he is mistaken on a few issues, that's all the more reason for us to pray for his scriptural enlightenment and divine guidance. Pray on!
