Four firefighters are suing the city of San Diego for being forced by their superiors to attend the annual "Gay Pride" parade where they endured a barrage of sexual taunts and lewd gestures.
San Diego's fire chief, Tracy Jarman, is an open lesbian who called the July 21 parade a "fun event" in which "all employees are encouraged to participate."
But the firefighters said, unlike previous years, they were ordered into uniform to participate in the parade in their fire truck, despite repeated their protests.
The firefighters' legal counsel, the Thomas More Law Center, said the men were "left with the Hobson's choice of either violating their conscience or being disciplined for disobeying a direct order."
The firefighters, described as devoted husbands and fathers, said they were subject to the most vulgar kinds of sexual harassment.

If this person were a lesbian fire chief, and did her job of managing the fire department, and putting out and/or preventing fires, I doubt if she would be getting any flak.
The reason we’re all posting is because she ordered these firemen to participate in an “event” that has nothing to do with their job as firemen and is against their beliefs and values. To have these men subjected to these perversions and sexual taunts against their will is outrageous. They should have told their chief, as a group, we will NOT participate and let the chips fall where they may.

Moonbatapolis had the same problem with a lesbo fire chief. In this case she was using the fire department to look for “dates”. Amazing that Moonbatapolis had the backbone to fire her (although some lawsuits encouraged the City of Flakes to do so as well).
She just is not a Christian. The Fire Department is not a private enterprise, and therefore Christian fire chiefs do not force firefighters to attend Christian Bible reading . . .even though it would never hurt them.

That “parade” was disgusting and the chief’s requirement that the firemen participate was even more revolting.
Again, if she kept her sexual preferences to herself and just did her job as fire chief, I wouldn’t have a problem with her. The fact that she’s using her position to promote a warped agenda is grounds for her immediate firing in my book. I’m highly pissed at what these firemen had to endure.
My reference to a Christian fire chief requiring that all firefighters attend Bible School was meant as a “what if”
type of situation. If such a scenario were to happen, these same, “tolerant” liberals would be screaming bloody murder, Katie Couric would spend half of her newscast on this.....in her words....”deplorable” situation, and the fire chief would be looking for a new job at Wal-Mart.

Their direct supervisor IS a heterosexual. He may have been following orders, but nonetheless, he was following orders because HE TOO was afraid of crossing the Gay mafia that runs that part of San Diego.

In my life I have worked with gay paeople, male and female, who never made their sexuality an issue in any way shape or form. And as long as they don’t throw it in my face....I don’t care what they do in their lives. I have also worked with a great many Christians of all kinds and over the years I have had a few born agains definatly get in my face with it. That can really make a long night shift longer. I don’t care for either situation.

In San Francisco, at one point they were giving preference to Asian Females. Which meant that a 4’ 11” 90 lb minority was given preference over a 6’6” 200 lb white guy. Who do you think was better able to pull someone from a fire?
We need to stand up to the stupidity of affirmative action, that puts women in jobs they cannot handle. There would not be a problem if a married white guy was in charge.
Of course it’s a PC world. Was this person promoted to fire chief because she’s a woman, or because she’s a lesbian? Only the libs on the city council can answer that question.

I think it was done as a way of harrasing them into resigning. Do it so we can find PC replacements.
I bet a few of these four men had families and were good at their jobs. It is the only way the left wingers could maximize the discomfort to get them to quit.
The harassment will not end with just this, they will be ordered to special diversity training, special ride alongs for civilians until they reach the point where their lesbian firechief can say they either were fired for refusing lawful orders or quit because they could not do the job.
