free at the point of entry mate. we still pay for it over the entirity of our working lives with payments from our wages going direct to National Insurance.
We pay for our healthcare, but we dont give money directly to the NHS hospitals. If we choose to go to a private healthcare organisation, the costs are payed as in the US. But we still make compulsory payments to the NHS.
