I recently spent a few days in Ireland which is,today,one of the fastest growing...and richest...countries on earth.I had contact with many Poles and Czechs in my travels...particularly working in hotels and restaurants.They tended to be young women who were very pleasant,polite and efficient and had a surprisingly strong command of English.

I know my experiences there can't be applied to illegal immigration here (Polish and Czech citizens can legally live and work in Ireland) but I wonder how bad it can be in the UK with citizens of newly admitted EU countries.

I dont believe the reason cited in the story is the real story.
