Cannabis users are 40% more likely than non-users to suffer a psychotic illness such as schizophrenia, say UK experts.
Writing in the Lancet, a team led by Dr Stanley Zammit from Bristol and Cardiff Universities said young people needed to be made aware of the dangers.
In an additional article, experts said up to 800 schizophrenia cases a year in the UK could be linked to cannabis use.

The study found the most frequent users of cannabis have twice the risk of non-users of developing psychotic symptoms, such as hallucinations and delusions. well, duh.

Is that what it means to put pepperoni and hotsauce on your ButterPecan icecream?

There’s no accounting for taste; I like it under the whipped cream and I like it over.

Ban marijuana. Oh, never mind.
To: Neville72
I think water is a risk too, because 100% of all criminals in prison, past and present have consumed it. Where’s my 10 million$ grant for this study? (I guess it would be in Euros)

I really had to laugh about this report.....being a child of the 60-70 era We were well aware of how Pot screwed up your brains, but when it wears off the nonsense go away, too.....
To think that this is being treated like news is really amazing.......
Ask anyone who is over 50 and you'll find out that Pot is OK no big deal, nothing like the killers, (crack, heroin etc....) with the real problem not how screwed up you get, but how much YOU EAT
