Votes in both the House and Senate are likely to occur soon on a conference report for the bill implementing unfulfilled recommendations of the 9/11 Commission.
That conference report still includes a provision authorizing DHS to expand the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), which enabled convicted 9/11 co-conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui to enter the U.S. using just his French passport and would have allowed shoe bomber Richard Reid to enter using just his British passport.
The House is expected to vote on the conference report Thursday with Senate action shortly thereafter. The only way to stop this, and it would be a miracle, is to call your U.S. Senators and your U.S. Representative to ask them to "recommit" the conference committee report back to conferees so that the visa waiver expansion can be stripped from the measure.

I hope everyone gets on their phones and calls their Senators this morning and screams about this important issue, keeping in mind that most of our “elected ones” are working for foreign interests.
for your ping list
Illegal Immigration and Terrorism are closely linked, the only presidential candidate who gets it right is Duncan Hunter.
This is a ping list promoting Immigration Enforcement and Congressional Reform.

NO THE VISA WAIVER PROGRAM IS NOT A GIANT LOOPHOLE.
The visa waiver program POST 9/11 has been revamped to have HIGHER biometric passport requirements. IOW fingerprints rfid etc.
In fact the standards were so high, ENGLAND almost LOST their approval for the waiver program.
IN ADDITION, the waiver program is dovetailed with the watch list AND those countries that participate have to have a 98% visa approval ANYWAYS.
To find out how a country qualifies go to http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/without/without_1255.html
Keep in mind folks this encourages legitimate business in the USA. This is how we have people from italy, germany, england, france, etc. come to the USA without the disinsentive of a visa process with a HUGE approval rate. (for those who have never seen the line or the process it is a massive pain and takes too long)
As for those 2%, they get caught up with the biometrics and the watch lists now in place. (don’t forget airlines now give the names of those comming to the USA)
We must not blur LEGAL Immigration laws with the illegal alien issue.
Going tinfoil hat on this issue as a knee jerk reaction will only dimminish the cause.

Visa Waiver Program (VWP)
Important Notice:
International travelers, who are nationals of Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries, seeking to travel to the United States without a visa, should review this important information on passport requirements for travelers under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). All VWP travelers, regardless of age or type of passport used, must present individual machine -readable passports. Previous one-time exemptions for first-time VWP travelers without MRPs ended June 26, 2005. In addition, depending on when VWP travelers passports were issued, other passport requirements apply:
Machine-readable passports issued or renewed/extended on or after 10/26/06 requires integrated chip with information from the data page ( e-Passport ).
Machine-readable passports issued or renewed/extended between 10/26/05 and 10/25/06 requires digital photograph printed on the data page or integrated chip with information from the data page.
Machine-readable passports issued or renewed/extended before 10/26/05 no further requirements.
Temporary, emergency, official and diplomatic passports are exempted from biometric digital photo and chip requirements, but must be machine-readable.
Italian, French and Temporary German Passports
If a traveler cannot meet all of the requirements, he/she must obtain a visa for entry to the United States, and cannot travel without a visa on VWP. See Visa Waiver Program on the DHS, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) website for additional information.
Thanks — it never stops!
You can count on the two OK Senators and my Congressman to vote NO!

Senators Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Larry Craig (R-Idaho) are telling everyone that they will offer an "AgJOBS" amnesty bill, which would grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who work in agriculture. They have been joined by a chorus of senators determined to ram this amnesty down the American people's throats.
Don't their cries of "fruit rotting on the vine" fool you. The H-2A guestworker program provides the agricultural industry with all of the temporary labor it needs. But the H-2A program has wage requirements. The AgJOBS amnesty would relieve employers of that requirement, allowing them to set the wages for the indentured, formerly illegal workers at any level they wish, down to the minimum wage.
Since aliens will have to perform agricultural work in order to become permenent residents, they will have no choice but to work at whatever wages and working conditions employers choose to offer.
Once again, the Senate is trying to force an amnesty on the American people for the purposes of driving down wages!
The goal of this expansion is to add US Eastern European allies (Czech Republic, Poland, Baltic States, etc.) to the Visa Waiver Program. It’s a reward for their support of US, rather than a loophole for terrorists.
