Preventing one FAS pregnancy means an enormous difference in the quality of life for everyone concerned, but the impact on tax-funded services is dramatic. Education and prevention dollars spent are many times cheaper.

Isn't there a warning on beer and liquor to not drink during pregnancy? I mean, I've heard, seen, and read about the dangers a million times and I'm only 35.

I don't want to sound cruel, but come on, you can't take care of people who don't want to take care of themselves. Turn on a TV, listen to the radio, or for Pete's sake, read the label on a beer bottle.

Is there some sort of FAS/FAE information campaign to educate expectant mothers on reservations about the effects their drinking has on the unborn child?

I don't know much about FAS/FAE in that segment of society - I do have some knowledge of this concern in adopted children from Russia.
