“Well this certainly proves that you Fredheads have been duped into supporting a rabidly PRO CHOICE non candidate, I don’t care what you allege his record is, and I refuse to read it anyways because it may prove me wrong...”

Yada, yada, yada...

I think you're thinking of "Natural Family Planning", which I bet the organization would like to confuse people with. But their name is "National Family Planning..."

I don’t remember conversations I had 10 years ago. Busy professionals get like that. Why do you think we use daytimers and the like.

Give me a break, but keep swinging if you like.

The problem you get when "counseling" regarding abortion is that it's almost always a sales gimmick. A scared, pregnant young woman is an easy sell for abortion. What kind of counseling would be given at a place that is associated with abortions (as someone above quoted the organization)? They sure won't tell a woman what the baby looks like, what she'll spend the rest of her life suffering, etc. Believe me, I spent 10 years trying to talk women out of abortion. Now THAT'S hard to do in this society.

If you are going to come here and attack Fred for something he did in 1991, then I am going to ask you “How many babies were killed with the $150 the Romneys gave to Planned Parent Hood in 1994?”

Ahhh, but those 3 evil hours will be enough for the Saints who post at this location. And $5,000 is big money to them.

So, Saundra. Your post is heavily tinged with spite. Impressive.

“If you are going to come here and attack Fred for something he did in 1991”

Hello, good morning! Romney has been out there taking the hits and cheap shots lo these many months on the campaign trail. He has held his head high and kept focusing on the goal - to serve his country as POTUS. (Talk about “attacks” - guess you haven’t been paying any attention to the anti Romney threads here on FR.)

Meanwhile, Fred T has been hiding and avoiding scrutiny. Where was he for the first two national debates? Will he participate in the August debate? No.

You have a lot of nerve to accuse me of “attacking” Fred T. All I’m doing is pointing out the obvious. Your guy needs to come out of his hole and face the music like the other guys have been doing.

By the way, I don’t appreciate it that Fred voted for McCain-Feingold and voted to let Clinton off the hook during impeachment.

This is FreeRepublic.

First of all, it was 20 hours. Second, as a pro-lifer, I have spent all of zero hours promoting abortion. $5000 couldn't get me to work on a pro-abortion cause for 20 seconds. I'm not saint, but I value human life.

If Thompson felt strongly, he could have refused the assignment on the grounds that he wouldn't be the best person for it. The fact that the lobbying effort failed doesn't matter. If Thompson sabotaged the cause by doing a deliberately poor lobbying effort, then he is dishonest.

Looks like I'm going to have to vote Libertarian again.

Natural Family Planning (NFP) is supported by the Catholic Church, not National Family Planning(ie-ABORTION).

When will you realize you are supporting a mirage?

BTW, Life is not about federalism. I know some of you have convinced yourselves that Fred’s vague statements about “a woman’s decision,” and “between her and her doctor” can somehow be stretched into a federalist argument. It can’t.

Natural Law is fundamental to this country’s founding. Before there was a constitution, there was a declaration that listed THE RIGHT TO LIFE as the first and most fundamental of our natural rights. The protection of life is both a national and state obligation.
By suggesting we can “give it back to the states” is to say “I wash my hands of it. The people will decide if they want Jesus or Barabbas.”

A society that does not defend innocent human life defends nothing. There are no librites without life. There is no pursuit of happiness without life. There are no rights to private property or to defend oneself or one’s family if LIFE is not protected as SACRED.

A government that does not defend life is no government. A politician is worthless if he only takes a public stand when it helps his own career.

Tennesse is a conservative state. To take a prolife stand when running in Tennessee is not an act of courage-it is pragmatic.

A person who actually cares about the brutal torture and dismemberment of the most vulnerable members of the human family, “the least of our brethren” does not allow aides to fill out paperwork regarding his position on life and he does not hide behind attorney-client privilege-especially when those documents have been exposed by his former clients.

Go get some coffee, find a quiet corner, and examine the facts for yourselves.

Saint Libertarian:
So, Fred failed your perfection test? I am so shocked. Please go waste your vote on a Libertarian candidate as you were going to do in the first place. Enjoy the complete lack of effect (except to your sanctimonious ego) that your vote brings.

BTW. It’s just grand that you’re a pro-lifer. So am I, but unlike you, I was in the trenches. I have 4 children.

She's still going off on that? My goodness... that old "Fred let Clinton off the hook" yarn has been debunked a dozen times or more.

Finding Clinton guilty on one of the two counts as Fred did would have been enough for removal.

Fred T voted that Clinton did not lie under oath (during impeachment) when everyone knows Clinton did commit perjury. Fred T voted to convict but he also voted that Clinton did not lie under oath. Trying to have it both ways. Like I said, a double minded man, unstable in all his ways. Besides, he voted for McCain-Feingold and now hides from its implications.

Once again, you distort through omission. You've taken his vote out of context. He has clearly stated his reasons for that vote. Distortion is a regular tactic of yours, I see.

And he also explained WHY he did that. Just stating that he did it paints an incomplete picture.

Like I said, a double minded man, unstable in all his ways.

If that's one of your criteria, you need to find yourself a new candidate.

Why?

There aome candidates who are actually, really running for the presidency.

Have you examined Duncan Hunter’s record?

He is solid, consistent, prolife, direct, and real.
