A couple of thoughts. First, the headline seems to conflict with the article. If men are no longer being fought for, how is bagging one a “must have”? Second, the article is BS anyway, probably written by some fem-dyke shrew who could keep a man unless he was locked in a kennel. Females have created a society where it is foolish for men to commit to them. Ridiculously easy to obtain sex for the price of a 1st or 2nd date, endless variety, freedom, not being shackled for life to some superficial airhead with a goddess complex, avoiding cripling anti-male divorce laws. What man in his right mind would get married today?

Any woman, or man for that matter, that has 'looks' as the most important aspect of what a mate should be like is going to have a lot of pain in their life when the 'looks' fade.

Men need to retake their manhood. This doesn’t mean that they need to become brutes, just that they need to stop craving to be some metrosexual. I cringe when I see a man in the passenger side of a vehicle with his wife/whatever driving and maybe the kids in the back. What’s up with that? Man up. Be the man of the family. Sheesh.

But as far as humans are shallow and place a lot of emphasis on looks, this is new??? Since when haven't men done stupid things to attract women? (I think the psychologists call these things protean courtship device)
And since when haven't women been just as if not more attentive to what other women thought about them as to what men thought? Men have almost always done stupid, often dumb and dangerous things to attract women. Why should now be different? Why should an older man be less vain?
As a side note, as men do their best to maintain their youthful appearance and attitude, they will attract the attention of younger women. Many women, younger and older, appreciate an attractive, confident, experienced man.

BTW: As I've said several times, my father was ABSOLUTELY correct: the main difference between paid sex and free sex is that free sex is more expensive.
