Fox News Channel is NOT conservative... yet the Left feels threatened by it. Perhaps because its not completely one sided like the rest of MSM. And they can't stand the thought of conservatives getting equal airtime with THEM. What they really want is the airwaves all to themselves. That's the Left's understanding of the "Fairness Doctrine."

The loonie-tunes socialists are also terrified that born-again Rupert Murdoch is about to take over their holy shrine, the Wall Street Urinal.

The “unhinged left” is about as commonplace as an “outraged” moslem. It just takes so little to do it to either constituency.

I am waiting for Fox News to move back to the right.
I am still upset with Fredo Barns and his Puppet Mortimer.
Charles Krauthammer makes the other two look like pansies for todays talking points.
The liberals in this country have a sorry track record when it comes to what people want to hear day in and day out.
Liberals win when conservatives go out of their way to screw up and hand the election to them on a dirty plate.

The first casualty was in the Marlboro Man and smoking. That battle still rages with hearings on Capitol Hill regarding the use of smoking in movies and the manipulation of the ratings system to appease the anti smoking crowd. Even in the recent attacks on the Fox News Channel, groups have used Rupert Murdochs relationship with cigarette maker Philip Morris (PM) and how that led to Murdochs vast media empire ignoring stories about the negative effects of smoking. Is "smoking may cause cancer" news? What legitimate news story involves the act of smoking unless its one of government interference in peoples lives?

The irony of a filmmaker wanting to limit the press is stunning. All commies need to censor speech and all other freedoms since their ideas don’t work.

If there’s any complaint against against Fox it’s an excess of glitz and cleavage at the expense of hard news. If Anna Nicole dies you know every night Fox will spend an inordinate amount of time with super hot info babes, with low cut bodices breathlessly giving us a minute to minute update - wait a second, I like that stuff. Never mind.

Thank God for FOX news! No, it isn’t perfect and no, it isn’t as conservative as some think or others wish it were, but it’s the only “game in town” when it comes to a news channel that is at least trying to provide “both sides”. I’m more than willing to put up with a few extra car chases, and crimes of the hour to hear presentations that are more “fair and balanced” than anything else out there. If we can agree on nothing else I think we can agree that there will be no other outlet that can come close to what they have been able to accomplish.
