Fletcher back from the dead? He's very close now and a few months left to go before the election.

These numbers look too good to be true.

Keep in mind the poll has a huge undecided bloc. Dr. Fletcher’s poll numbers have stayed in the 30s.

Yeah. So what’s the deal, voters not completely sold on Beshear? I don’t know what’s going on in KY.

I worry he won’t, but if Dr. Fletcher pulls this one out, he will truly earn the nickname of the “Comeback Kid.”

Dr Fletcher’s approval ratings are at Bush levels. The source of Fletcher’s dismal ratings become from the RAT Attorney General investigating him for firing Dem operatives from state gov’t and hiring political allies to replace them. KY’s AG with the help of the media made Fletcher look like a crook. Unforunately, Fletcher did a poor job of fighting back.

They probably are.

Although the only thing “good” for Fletcher is that Beshear’s support has gone down. His hasn’t really increased.

Kentuckians traditionally strongly favor Democrat gubernatorial nominees. The Republicans have last won only in 1943, 1967, and 2003.

My sources in KY tell me that Fletcher’s REAL problem, like Bush’s, is that he has abandoned core Conservative values -— and also like Bush, the msm is spinning their problems as those of corruption and incompetence.

Governor Fletcher is the first honest Governor we have had in Ky since (R) Louie Nunn back in 1967. Every Governor since then has had some scandal or illegal activity. We have had crooks like Wallace Wilkinson, John Y Brown, Brenton Jones, And most recently Paul Patton the philanderer who stood beside Bubba the trailer park king Bill Clintoon. Every one of the snakes elected since Nunn has engaged in dirty road building deals and lined themselves and their cronies pockets. Governor Fletcher has been the target of a witch hunt since his inauguration. Our semi retarded Attorney General Grady Stumbo continues to waste our tax dollars when he knows Fletcher is clean. Stumble was also planning on running for Governor when he announced these investigations against Fletcher. What a piece of crap. Kentucky is in better shape financially than it has been in over thirty years. And we are landing more industry and good jobs now than ever before. Thanks Governor Fletcher

No matter the facts, people in KY still prefer Democrats for governor: it’s part of their innate tradition.

Don’t doubt that at all: few conservatives stick to their guns. They want to “moderate” to get Democrat backing.

This is amazing, although it’s more of Breshear falling in the polls, and his supporters moving to the undecided catagory.

If Fletcher manages to win, it will be perhaps the most amazing political comeback in Kentucky history.

That tradition was going to end eventually, because it wasn’t representative of what the public prefers. The GOP is firmly in control of Federal Offices, has the State Senate, and is closing in on control of the House there. Smashing the Democrat machine control of statewide offices was of paramount importance, and it was the reason why Stumpy the rodent coup plotter AG had to viciously destroy Dr. Fletcher.

All Fletcher is guilty of is having people working for state government that aren’t rodents working to undermine him. Make no mistake, if Beshear is elected, the rodentry will be fully reinstated to their government jobs and what few Republicans Fletcher has gotten in will be fired. And nary a peep will be heard about it... that is, unless we finally get a GOP AG to do Beshear what was done to Fletcher. Fair is fair, y’know.

As much as I’d like to believe it, I can’t. Beshear is going to flat out cruise to victory. IMO by at least 15 points, unless something strange happens. The tide is just too strong against our Governor thanks to AG Greg as well as Ernie’s own miscues.

Gonna be a long, ultimately not even close race.

Before some of you think I’m some kind of ‘Rat, trust me (can you say that in cyberspace? LOL) I’m GOP through and through.

“Brenton Jones”

Ahhh yes, I remember this one, well. Frankly, how could I forget it. His name is Brereton Jones. I was the E.A. to Larry Roger’s assistant from 91 to 98. When P.I.E. wasn’t spending it, he had no problem spreading the ‘wealth’ among both political parties and he was sentenced to less than four years in prison for it. These folks were in the offices routinely. In fact, it was at one of our annual meetings that I met (our guest speaker) Newt Gingrich. I’m sure he was clueless.

Your analysis is hard to buy, when you get the name of the Attorney General wrong. GREG Stumbo is the Attorney General, not Grady. Dr. Grady Stumbo, despite his Democrat resume, actually supports Governor Fletcher because his granddaughter got a cushy state job.

Sad as it may be, Governor Fletcher has been a disaster and no better than any of the other governors we have had since Louie Nunn. He has spent taxpayer funds like a drunken sailor on questionable road projects in an attempt to be re-elected. He pardoned every member of his administration in an attempt to cover up the truth on what happened in the hiring scandal. He has made threats to road contractors and lobbyists and has a secret legal defense fund that they are buying favors through.

I can't bring myself to vote for a Democrat. However, I do not think I can vote for Fletcher again either. As much as he has harmed the Republican Party in the past four years, I shudder to think of the damage he could cause with four more.

I'm ready to find a strong, honest, truly fiscal conservative for Governor in 2011!

I’m from Louisiana, not Kentucky. I imagine I’d vote for him against the Democrat if I was.
