There once was a con man who made fools of a LOT of people. They followed his underlings to Utah. They were so bad the US government almost went to war with them. They killed everyone in a wagon train while pretending to be Indians after a while. Then, one of them who was a guy who flip flopped at least once on every issue of his day solely to gain votes tried to run for president.
And he really hated his dog.
It should be pointed out that the source of the information you posted is in fact the very people who drove Mormons out of their homes in the dead of winter, tarred and feathered and murdered their men, women and children, burnt their homes and cities to the ground and finally murdered their prophet and called it “frontier justice”. FYI, the word of self-justifying, mass murders, in some corners of the world, is suspect at best.
