Israel Radio reported Saturday that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has released a statement saying Iran has become a nuclear nation and no one can cause the country to backtrack. "Our enemies cannot harm us, not because they don't wish to, but because they cannot do so due to their difficult situation," Israel Radio quoted Ahmadinejad as saying. According to Israel Radio, Ahmadinejad said the rationing of fuel has made Iran better able to withstand pressure from the international community. He was referring to sanctions placed on the country following its refusal to halt uranium enrichment as part of its nuclear program. He said the enemies of Iran have acknowledged the fact that the rationing of fuel has made his country "undefeatable," the radio reported...

Sounds like this little 9th Century knuckledragger is trying to defuse a powderkeg situation regarding gas rationing.

Rationing and being rational aren’t the same thing.

These were made about two years ago..

Commandant of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, said on state television. “God willing, the 21st century will see the defeat of the U.S. and the Zionists, and the victory of freedom-seeking nations of the world. The final goal of the [1979] revolution is to create global Islamic rule and a regime of law to be led by the Imam Mahdi”.

The [Iranians] President’s chief strategist, Hassan Abbassi, has come up with a war plan based on the premise that “Britain is the mother of all evils” – the evils being America, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, the Gulf states and even Canada, all of whom are the malign progeny of the British Empire. “We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization,” says Mr Abbassi. “There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them… Once we have defeated the Anglo-Saxons the rest will run for cover.”

The IRGC chief warned that Iran was seeing through “critical days” and “fate-determining years”. He described the purpose of Iran’s 1979 Islamic revolution as the “Salvation of Muslims” from the hands of the “oppressive U.S. and Israel”.

"He said the enemies of Iran have acknowledged the fact that the rationing of fuel has made his country "undefeatable," "

And his islamo-fascist Reich will rule for a thousand years!

Looking more and more like it is about over for the Khomeiniacs.

If I were at Walker’s Point this weekend, I’d tell President Bush to pay off Putin, so that we could start bombing Iran’s oil wells and refineries this week. Enough with the talk. The time has come to destroy their economy. Which in turn will cut off funding to terrorists in Iraq, the middle east and the world. And if we’re rally lucky, the economic chaos will lead to a civil war in Iran.

Interesting. Being Muslims, of course, they ignored the wonderful opportunity for modernity, advancement and even a comfortable society given these countries by virtue of British colonization, and instead did what they always do: seethe with envy and rage at the fact that Islam is incapable of producing a functioning society of any kind. Hence its failure must always be blamed on someone else.

They blame the British Empire, they blame the Spanish (al Andalus), they blame the US. They’ll do anything rather than take a good look at themselves and the life-denying, oppressive “religion” that is truly the source of their problems.

after you shut down iran.. you have to shut down Saudi Arabia.. they are the silent but deadlier ideological threat... they are spreading wahabbism all over the world , indocrinating the youth at as many mosques as possible... in a way it’s just as much as a threat.

If he thinks they’re nuclear now, just wait. We’ll show him nuclear. Or perhaps nucular.
