Sorry for the vanity, everyone. Could you please keep my church's mission team in prayer as we travel to Swaziland for the next two weeks?
We are traveling through London, coming and going. Africa itself presents several challenges to our team.
Please keep us in prayer. The names of those going are included in the link as the "source" of this posting.
Thank you and God Bless all of you!

Prayer request. And if any of you can ping your prayer warrior friendss on this forum and pass this along to your church’s congregations, I would be most grateful!
Don’t look for me on FR until the 15th...

Yeah, I remember you mentioning having to fly through London. Good luck with that and keep a watchful eye out.

My prayers are with you. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you every minute of your trip and always.

Oh please, not this false service junk again.
What, is there no one worthy of assistance in the US?
You have to travel overseas to help a needy person?
Charity starts at home, help those in you own neighborhood first. But then you would not get the T shirt that brags on your generosity. Now would you? Self serving hypocrisy....IMHO

Assuming that L,TOWM lives to be a hundred years old (hey, why not?), these two weeks represent about 0.04% of his life. Surely you do not begrudge a fellow spending 0.04% of his life on overseas evangelism, do you?
What, that's entirely too much?

Prayers for a safe and fruitful trip. Ignore the naysayers. There are people who need help everywhere, and as long as you’re not spending 9422WMR’s money, he/she has no reason to denigrate and namecall your mission.
May God bless your endeavors.

Prayers for a safe trip, may the Lord reward your efforts.

I once thought that way also, but them I realized that the great commission calls us to share the good news. That's it. Share it. Since the entire population in the US has "heard", and are aware, outreach is needed in countries where the good news has not even had an opportunity to be heard.
We are not called to change the hearts of men but simply to share the good news. Once it is shared it is up to that person to decide what to do with it. Whatever they chose will be between them and God.

But then you would not get the T shirt that brags on your generosityShows you haven't done much either here or abroad. I got the T-shirt for a local Habitat build, I got a cap from an overseas trip. The blood drives also used to be good for a t-shirt.
You might want to visit a Christian church sometime - you might learn something.

Habitat build?
From that pandering idiot Jimma Carter’s group?
Oh get real. Those things turn into crack houses in short order. You would do better to offer cash to the deprived individual who would temporarily reside there
I thought it was just a visit to a foreign country to feel better about your American guilt.
But oh it gets much better.
Habitat for Humanity. That works real well.
Visit a Christian church sometime? Maybe that self aggrandizing
self profiteering Joel O’imgoodlookingsteen is the church you had in mind?
Thanks, but I’d rather not.....
