"China cannot accept the indiscriminate and automatic detention of four kinds of Chinese seafood by the United States," Li Changjiang, the head of China's top quality watchdog, was quoted as saying.

Can't accept it? Do they have a choice? Can someone FORCE me to shop at Macy's? I think we should ban ALL food products from China. Then we can band the rest of the garbage they sell us.

Yet another reason NOT to fly. Blackbird.

I haven't flown commercial since 1980. Even then the delays at airports made a trip 500 miles or closer it's quicker to drive. With todays insane security practices causing more delays I see no reason to fly. It's odd that we managed to ended hi-jacking in the 1970's by simply using Air Marshall's. Yet in this day some idiotic official allowed their tactics to be filmed? If our government does not take the W.O.T. serious on this and other issues such as our borders then why should we? Homeland Security is a 12 gauge pump with the plug removed.

We do not need a U.S. Department of Homeland Security any more than we need a U.S. Department of Education. Security begins at our homes and in our communities. Has the DHS prevented China from gaining anything in the way of technology? No. DHS is ran by the fourth branch of government called the U.S. State Department. They take their orders from there just like many other agencies these days.

LOL. My kids got bored last week. They took some little fish from our pond, stuck them on a stick, and roasted them over the fire like marshmallows.

Maybe they’re on to something.

Well, as we back in the mill-town used to say to comments like that, "Then what'cha gonna do about it, huh?"

Having lived in Alaska I learned to avoid farmed fish. I recall when the Costco in Juneau tried selling farmed salmon in a sort of “coals to Newcastle” move. Even the Govoner got involved in the issue. Just short of a boycott they saw the light.

Red China is so arrogant. They kill our pets and poison the human food, and expect us to ignore it.

What if we all sent letters email and faxes to Walmart headquarters? Tell them we want only American food grown in America do you think it would make any difference?

That’s not a bad idea. I am going to write them a letter.
