Even if Roe was repealed, few states would criminalize abortion. I saw an article that predicted that the major states with population (Texas excepted) would not change their laws at all.
That could be true, so perhaps what we need is a constitutional amendment which declares the unborn to be a full person whose right to life is to be protected like any other person.
