This pastor actually learned this lesson, and he IS speaking up for the people who are being persecuted. Sadly, the rest of Germany may end up re-learning the lesson of what happens when society systematically persecutes the helpless.

Through the EU, such thoughts can poison all the member nations. If each had full national sovereignty, the central government would be smaller and less powerful to enforce its will on an unwilling people.

Amnesty bill would do the same to the USA as would the NAUnion.
