“Blueberry ranked #1 by researchers at the USDA Human Nutrition Center when comparing antioxidant activity to 40 other vegetables and fruits.”

That is a meaningless statement and a marketing ploy.

Blueberries have an ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorption Capcity) of 2,400 while Unprocessed Cocoa Powder is #1 at 26,000 and the Acai Berry is #2 at 18,500 on the ORAC scale.

Unprocessed Cocoa Powder has eleven times more antiocidants than blueberries.

This statement reminds me of the Ads Welches has on their pure grape juice. They state their grapes “have a higher ORAC value than 1,000 other things tested” What other things did they test? Twinkes?

I hate to be a fly in the ointment, but MY research indicates that every person who includes blueberries as part of their diet.....will die.

No exceptions.

Hmm! If it fights Alzheimer’s? Might it improve someone who has an awful memory?

Blam? You on some sort of Health Kick these days? First Potato Salad, and now Blueberries? LOL!

But MORE importantly, what’s the current ‘skinny’ on Chocolate?

Very good for you in moderation, the darker the better. I'm boycotting Hershey due to their move to Mexico

Hershey, who? ;) I’m a Lindt Girl, through and through. 80% dark or I’ll do without. :)
