I think if the courts order Cheney to hand over documents, the administration should hand over some from the Gore years.

There is fear in this interview. What she remembers is the disgrace of losing, the agony of uncertainty and lastly, denial.
The rest of her life will be spent with the memories of the great DC chapter, the few memorialized as a massive mob. Conviction and righteousness were a force multiplier.

I didn't make that one, but was with a bunch of you when we all went to the White House the evening of Jan 19, 2001 and gave the Clinton's a bad time.
The chant was great, something like this: "Bill Clinton, we have you surrounded. Pull your pants up and come out!"
Ah, them was the days...LOL

Also ran into Laura Ingraham on one of those days (we attended 2 days, bringing our kids to add to the noise). It really was a great spontaneous outpouring... and pitifully few Demos (in solid Demo DC) to counter our protest. Gore knew he was toast.

All they were doing was demonstrating with "cries of 'Get Out of Cheney's House'".
According to Karenna Gore as quoted in David Frums Diary, NOV. 19, 2002: GORE SPEAKS, Al Gore himself stopped the Dem plan to stir up riots -- presumably the damands would be for Bush to yield to the "will of the people."
Riots equal destruction and deaths. There was a willingness among some Dems to accept, nay, cause the sound of cries of people dying.
