Shadowing Rahm [Emanuel, D-Illinois]
American Spectator ^ | 6/18/2007 | The Prowler

Rep. Rahm Emanuel is ducking questions about his role in the Immigration and Naturalization Service's Citizenship USA Initiative, which he helped direct back in 1996 during the Clinton Administration.

Emanuel, in his capacity as a senior White House adviser to President Bill Clinton, was well known in Department of Justice circles as a "shadow Attorney General," according to a former Clinton DOJ official.

"Rahm won't say anything about it now, he's scared out of his mind that he's going to get tarred for his role in this thing, but he was very much involved in directing policy at DOJ, particularly on immigration policy," says the former official now in private practice in New York.

Meanwhile, Emanuel has been attempting to send reporters asking about his role of late in other directions. According to a reporter for a Chicago daily who asked Emanuel about his activities at DOJ, "He said that it was all a Harold Ickes operation."

Emanuel was identified in a 2000 DOJ Inspector General report as a key player in a taxpayer-funded scheme to fast-track legal and illegal immigrants through any means possible for citizenship so that they could vote for the Democrat party. The program was called Citizenship USA. . . .

Anything bad landing on Rahm isn't all bad.

Oh yeah. Blame it on the mob attorney. Good plan Rahm. What was that line from the Sopranos? Something like, You don’t hear anything then it goes dark.

At the time all this stuff about Citizenship USA came out in the wash, in the late 90s, the Dallas Morning News did a bunch of stories about how in Texas they arranged for people to cheat on their citizenship tests. The TV stations sent people with hidden cameras that showed them handing out the answers after they handed out the tests. Of course, those stories have mysteriously disappeared from the DMN archives.

The 684-page INS inspector general report's most stunning allegation -- that the Clinton-Gore White House had hijacked the INS for partisan political purposes in what amounted to massive voter fraud -- never emerged as a campaign issue until after election day, when it became evident that Al Gore owed his near-victory in Florida to hundreds of thousands of newly-minted citizens in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

According to the IG report, many of those new voters should never have been granted citizenship. Some were convicted felons. Others had overstayed tourist visas and were working illegally. Close to 200,000 never underwent any background check,(there was testimony about how the background check requests were just thrown away) so INS does not know to this day whether they were eligible for citizenship. Few passed an English language and citizenship test worthy of the name. Some could not understand their own swearing-in, because the ceremony was conducted in English.

Anyone interested in Rahm ought to look up his military service record.

Once a clintanoid...always a dirtbag. But isn’t Harold still very tight with Hillary and the present campaign? Unless it is a planned shell game, I suspect her heiness will not want the attention RAMMED toward her campaign.

Am I the only one to notice that the illegals demonstrating on May Day were wearing a lot of red? I repeat, on May Day?
Check out the cover of June’s National Review (I don’t think they, unlike Time Magazine, photoshop their photos.)

If these illegals coming in are Latino Lefties, we really, really gotta problem.

See this is the kind of thing that’s going to cause the pubbies and/or conservatives to lose the election.

Because THEY CHEAT!

In fact, don’t know if y’all heard Rush Limbaugh this past week but he said, and I agree, that this flap over those fired Attorneys General was about voter fraud. It seems the AG’s fired were NOT pursuing voter fraud cases.

So when the newly appointed AG’s begin going after voter fraud the screaming Dems can point their wrinkly stinky fingers and shout “I tole you soooooo. They only fired the old AG’s because they wouldn’t prosecute this BOGUS voter fraud.”

Stolen elections are nobody’s fault but the opposition party so long as they keep letting it happen.

New Mexico, Florida...anywhere you got Indian reservations...shucks we were stuck with Daschle for a couple of years because of Indian reservation fraud till the pubs sent a team there and stopped the fake voter registration.

Pubs lose elections mostly because they allow the Dems to walk over them and don’t fight back.

I’d support a ten-year moratorium on naturalization. Reassign the naturalization officials to examine all naturalizations since the start of the Clinton administration. Look for fraud — in particular, check communicable diseases, criminal records, and English requirements.

Military service record.

I believe he was an Israeli soldier.

Maybe also an American Major? Colonel? General? Chief of Staff?

I wouldn't doubt that he was an Israeli soldier,I believe that he,like Michael Chertoff,is a dual citizen.

Someone must get a kick out of waving a red cape in front of a raging bull. While there certainly is a lot of room to speculate exactly why Muslims dislike us,and there are many reasons,no doubt, there is no question that they have continually complained that we "knee jerk" respond to anything Israel wants.

What's that saying about fat and frying pans?

If only. Also, how about a moratorium on all immigration until the one who are here have assimilated? The current levels of immigration, legal and illegal, are balkanizing our country.
