Didn't stop ME! Ha!

I'm sure it didn't stop you but you likely need libricant. I used to think people that needed a accessory were insane until I realized why.

There are only 700 or so accidental gun deaths every year, the 1500 you site probably includes undetermined death, police intervention and justifible homicide. Also roughly one person under the age of 19 dies every 3 days from an accident with a gun.

Well, if you read the Bible, the same God who created the foreskin instituted circumcision. According to Scripture, HE was the one who introduced it. Tell Him He made a mistake doing that, why don't you?

So, God made specialized tissue on the most sensitive part of a man's body, simply for the someone else to hack off. What a wacky world.

I didn’t mean to be humorless, I just had to point out one more thing that circumcised men never realized they lost.

That's exactly right. Generally speaking, men circumcised at birth typcially never know how the intact parts are even supposed to function, let alone their purposes or sensations.

It's sort of like watching a regular TV signal on an HDTV monitor. If you've always had regular TV, and didn't know how HDTV is supposed to look, you might be perfectly satisfied with what you're seeing. You might not even think twice about it and it certainly might not affect your viewing pleasure. "Hey, it looks fine."

But someone who's always been watching 1080p HDTV is going to say, "You don't know what you're missing. It's not supposed to look like that."

There's no reason to routinely disable the resolution of our HDTVs.

...don't ever watch the series "Missed Diagnoses" that occassionally airs on The Discovery Channel...used to watch it, but it always turned out that the guy's wife was sneaking rat poison into his iced tea and I got bored waiting for the medical esperts to come up with the diagnosis when I knew what it was as soon as I heard that he had "strange neurological symptoms and was growing progressivly weaker"......

Tell it to God.

Well, since it's not necessary for us Christians to do it at all, He must have changed His mind with The New Covenant.

“Well, if you read the Bible, the same God who created the foreskin instituted circumcision. According to Scripture, HE was the one who introduced it. Tell Him He made a mistake doing that, why don’t you?”

And if you read alittle closer, you’ll know for WHO and WHY God instituted it to begin with. Has nothing to do with hygiene or disease prevention.

"I have never heard of anyone being circumcised when joining the military.

Well, now you have! ;)

See also post #22.

BTW, his comment was always made tongue-in-cheek. He was the third of three brothers who served in the Navy from 1941 (before Pearl Harbor) to 1946.

Absolutely right. Baby recovers well from circumcicion. When it is done as an adult, it is very painful, takes awhile to heal, much swelling, etc.

As to health benefits, many have been set forth above, but you refer to situation where man is pre-diabetic or has even a trace of sugar in urine. This results in yeast infection on member which is very painful and causes open sores.

The people who rally against circumcision for one reason or another are just as nuts as the PETA crowd.
