Thomas dies
Wyoming residents are mourning the loss of Sen. Craig Thomas (R) this morning. Thomas, who just started his third term in the U.S. Senate this January, died last night after a long battle with leukemia. Gov. Dave Freudenthal, a Democrat will name a Republican replacement from a list of three candidates submitted by the Wyoming Republican party in a matter of days.

Thompson Ahead in California
In a poll that will surely make many Republicans happy, SurveyUSA reports in its latest survey that Fred Thompson has surged into 2nd place amongst GOP voters in California. Thompson is tied with Sen. John McCain at 21 percent, with Rudy Giuliani in first place with 28 percent. Meanwhile, according to this report, key Bush surrogates are starting to back Thompson for president. We’re not sure if this is good or bad news.

Reagan Remembered
Finally, it should be noted that it was three years ago today that we lost Ronald Reagan. We remember his strength, vision and what good he did for this nation.

Gas Average today: $3.148

It is weird, we Republicans look to actors while you Democrats keep electing Stalinist traitors hellbent on destroying the country.

Well, if it’s any consolation, alot of us regret Arnold as he’s Grey Davis with a goofy accent.

I’ve seen him in only one movie, and I have never seen his TV show. So while I know he is an actor, I almost always think of him in terms of his public service.

As for “Hollywood values” — there shouldn’t be any blanket indictment of that. There is good there and there is bad there, just like anywhere else.

Awe come on. Fred’s going to win over the Hooter’s crowd too! Don’t leave them out.

Gov gets to “choose” between three candidates (Republican) selected by the WY Senate

Chosen by the Wyoming Republican Party.

IIRC the last Survey USA poll of California had Newt pretty strong but now he is down to 8%. Well, I figured out who Fred hurts the most, it is Newt.

Who do you support, MM?

I support Ron Paul for the R nomination. He's the only R candidate with enough sense to lead us out of that Iraq misadventure the Bush cabal lied us into.

Bookmarking to show all twelve or so of the GOP supporters of Ron Paul who they're in bed with.

This libertarian is supporting Fred, because I want the President to hold libertarian/conservative principles. (Paul may hold them, but he’ll never be president.)
