Feds Hoped to Snag Bin Laden Nuke Expert in JFK Bomb Plot

Monday , June 04, 2007

NEW YORK — Al Qaeda's reported nuclear whiz kid — a "tantalizing terror figure" with a $5 million bounty on his head — was the figure investigators had hoped to snag in their 18-month probe of a plot to blow up a New York airport, the New York Post reported Monday.

The name of Adnan Gulshair el-Shukrijumah, reportedly the man Usama bin Laden tapped to lead a previous plot to detonate nuclear bombs simultaneously in several U.S. cities, came up at several points in taped conversations during the probe, law-enforcement sources familiar with the investigation told the paper.

Soon to come — the media spin: “Feds bungle JFK terror plot. Mastermind slips through their fingers. Bush Administration incompetence cited. Obama says “I’d have caught him!”

Some folks need to get beaten to death slowly, as a lesson in personal integrity to others. It seems every fool with a tidbit of intelligence info has the news media on speed dial.

You know it's kind of lame that all they're coming up with is some talk about a terror strike, a few photos and camcorder footage.

Well, soon we can be safe if we just finally burn that pesky Constitution. What's it good for anyway?

What rubbish. There are plenty of crimes that are committed through talking. It's illegal to conspire to commit terrorism. Taking video footage of an intended target is an overt act in support of the conspiracy. Do we have to wait until they actually place a bomb? The 9-11 hijackers broke very few laws until they were actually on the planes. By then it was too late.

IN THE SHADOWS: Authorities had hoped to ensnare al Qaeda lieutenant Adnan Gulshair el-Shukrijumah, whose name surfaced in the investigation of an alleged plot by Russell Defreitas and Abdul Kadir (circled above). Kadir's wife, Isha (far right), believes he was "set up because he is a Muslim and has contact with Iran."

We have enough immigrants.

CLOSE THE BORDERS!!!

No, they broke plenty of visa and immigration laws. Bush and Congress failed us utterly and it led directly to 9/11. Then they shuffle around calling Islam a Religion Of Peace™ and telling us how we need a giant amnesty so all the other sleeper terrorists in our midst can be legal resident terrorists instead of bad undocumented terrorists. Oh, and we need to get rid of more liberties and privacy too. And if you object to it, you're probably some kind of terrorist as well.

Sorry, I forgot everything wrong in the world is directly the result of illegal immigration. Manny the bus boy and Mohammed Atta are really the same guy.

Since the majority of the planning was done before Bush ever became President, I don't know how it is that HE can be held responsible for it.

Here are just a few of the connections between Latino gangs, Mexico and Terrorism.

And even Rumsfeld put out the warning! (2005) http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0411/16/ldt.01.html

DOBBS: Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is warning of the threat of terrorists entering this country through the same routes as those used by illegal aliens. Secretary Rumsfeld, traveling in South America, warned that enemies look for weaknesses and take advantage of them.

DONALD RUMSFELD, SECRETARY OF DEFENSE: The risk is that some of these human-smuggling routes into our country from this hemisphere could be used just as easily for terrorists.

DOBBS: And three million illegal aliens are estimated to be entering this country this year.

Secretary Rumsfeld also said the United States has to be, as he put it, smarter and quicker in securing our borders. The federal government’s failure to secure those borders is leading individual states to take action. Arizona’s Proposition 200, which limits state benefits for illegals, passed overwhelmingly two weeks ago. Now at least half a dozen other states are considering similar measures.

Consider the following 5 statements by Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson given at a Senate Floor Speech 16 March 2005
to President George.W. Bush (page S 2828).

1. “In Detroit, Mahmoud Youssef Kourani was indicted in the Eastern District of Michigan on one count of conspiracy
to provide material support to Hezbollah. Kourani was already in custody for entering the country illegally
through Mexico and was involved in fund raising activities on behalf of Hezbollah.”
2. “...the capture of terrorist suspect Jose Padilla. The Justice Department says Padilla and an accomplice planned
to enter the United States through Mexico to blow up apartment buildings in major cities such as New York.”
3. “Or the case of suspected al-Qaida sleeper agent Mohammed Junaid Babar, who told investigators of a scheme
to smuggle terrorists across the Mexican border. He is tied to a terror plot to carry out bombings and
assassinations in London.”
4. “Intelligence reports suggesting that 25 Chechen terrorism suspects have illegally entered the United States from
Mexico have refocused attention on a porous border from which many believe the next major attack on
Americans could come.”
5. “Also last July, an Egyptian man United States authorities described as one of their most wanted smugglers of
humans was arrested on charges of operating a ring that illegally brought people from Egypt and other Middle
Eastern countries to the United States. The indictment says Abdallah and his associates would direct people
seeking to reach the United States to travel to one of several Latin American countries, and from there to
Guatemala. They would then be transported to America through Mexico in return for payments of thousands of
dollars in smuggling fees.”

It is blatantly obvious even to the most casual reader that Islamic terrorists have been, and continue to, cross the
U.S./Mexico border into America.

Since the majority of the planning was done before Bush ever became President, I don't know how it is that HE can be held responsible for it.

He failed to expel illegals, even the ones with known terrorist connections. Although he hadn't been there nine months yet, he failed to take any serious action and didn't take any action until his fake enforcement actions, all within the last year, all merely temporary measures to lull us into letting his Zamnesty pass Congress.

Thank you. I am mad as hell at Bush at trying to sneak the crappy immigration bill and he is getting the heat he deserves, but really this failing to close the borders goes back to 1986 and something Clinton should have done after the 1993 World Trade towers attack.
