“Officials in Trinidad and Tobago said one of the suspects arrested there was caught on a flight preparing to take off for Venezuela”....flying to Chavez.
WOW! Surprised this was not posted already!
Didn’t see the previous posting, sorry.
Actually it has been posted several times but each one was a slightly different article. Glad to see we haven’t surrendered totally to the terrorists yet. Not that the Dems haven’t tried .
Thank God TSA didn’t profile muslims... that could have been a PR nightmare.
I was being sarcastic, but any stories with new details are appreciated.
Anti-terrorist forces arrested one of the defendants, Russell Defreitas, a former employee at John F Kennedy airport in New York, while Guyanese citizen Abdul Kadir and a Trinidadian, Kareem Ibrahim, are in custody in Trinidad.
The fourth defendant, Abdel Nur, who was also a Guyanese citizen, is believed to be at large in Guyana, say Justice officials.
Kadir had been a member of Guyana’s Parliament until August 2006.
He was also mayor of the small bauxite mining town of Linden, south-east of Georgetown.
Kadir’s son, Kareem Kadir, called on US authorities to provide evidence that his father was involved in terrorism.
“I am asking one thing - give me concrete evidence that my father was ever part of any plot,” he told reporters.

Next will Ron Paul blame America, for picking on these poor, innocent guys?
And the next time, blame us again, for picking on these guys?
Yes, isn’t that interesting. Hugo, best buddy of Ahmanutcase from Iran.

It is most interesting that this guy would seek refuge in Venzuela!
All Muslim...
I think this is one of the most significant parts of this whole story, and we've got to keep people aware of this.
What you want to bet it was the Politician who had the one way ticket to Venzuela?
