I’m just waiting on somebody to say that Bush is releasing this now to take attention away from his amnesty plan!

You merely get a legal tourist visa, fly into the country on American Airlines and check your suitcase nuke.

It's so much quicker and easier just to do it illegally and enjoy the fruits of citizenship until amnesty makes you a citizen in the next step though.

“Sources said the plot involved a plan to blow up a jet-fuel pipeline at JFK setting off a potential massive explosion.”

“In other news...oil traders, reacting to the JFK plot, bid up oil prices to a new high...”

MSNBC: One of the four is a member of Parliament from the nation of Guyana. 10% of that country’s population is Muslim.

This is why I think Rudy is the frontrunner in the polls and why he will win the GOP nomination. With headlines like these, people will look to Rudy as a natural to lead us on the war on terror. If we continue to thwart these threats next year, Rudy won’t even have to run ads. He’d be a shoe-in. Who would fight the war on terror better, Hillary/Obama or Rudy? It’s a no brainer.

Would a terrorist attack raise prices? Would the loss of that fuel raise prices? Why?

Pete Williams of NBC News now quoting officials saying the plot was “not in operational stages”, that the rotten bastards did not actually have any explosives.

I wonder immediately what the ethnicity of that “former worker” is, never mind his religion...

Fox News Update:

Three people were arrested and one other was being sought in connection to a plan to set off explosives at John F. Kennedy International Airport, officials close to the investigation said.

The plot, which never got past the planning stages, did not involve airplanes or passenger terminals, according to the two officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because details of the arrests had not yet been announced. They did not elaborate on the specific target at the airport, one of the nation's busiest.

Details were to be given out at a 1 p.m. news conference.

that’s New York for you!! (and I live here)...

anytime I go through LGA or JFK the 99% of the TSA agents lounge around like they don’t give a flying eff....go to a place like MCO (Orlando) of even a smaller city (Mobile/Indy) and it is the complete opposite....

leaving Mobile in January they would not let me through security as my toothpaste was not in the required plastic bag!

When I saw the ‘former airport worker’, I remembered there were a large amount of airport workers fired after 9/11.

I wonder if he was one of them.
