It takes a socialist village . . .

Senator and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has unveiled her economic vision. Should she be given the power to implement it, we can say goodbye to the prosperity and opportunity we have enjoyed since the Reagan years.

In a speech at Manchester School of Technology in New Hampshire, Mrs. Clinton said it's time to replace President Bush's "ownership society," which she called an "on your own" society, with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity. Mrs. Clinton said she prefers a "we're all in it together" society: "I believe our government can once again work for all Americans. It can promote the great American tradition of opportunity for all and special privileges for none."

Doesn't such a society already exist elsewhere? It's called socialism, where government has sought to make all things economically equal and the only equality is that all are equally poor. Wasn't defeating such a society precisely why we fought and won the Cold War? Why does Mrs. Clinton wish to embrace the principles of the losing side?

Mrs. Clinton has merely updated the old and discredited (except among socialist dictators) Karl Marx saying: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

Krushchev just rolled over in his grave to face Marx.

I can’t remember where, but the Clintons are building themselves a new house, probably quite a large one.

A caller on Rush’s show a day or two ago called Hillary’s staff and asked if she planned on “sharing” her house with those of us who are less fortunate. Would make a nice inexpensive vacation (unless you visit with a wife or daughter when Bill’s home).

GWB's amnesty push may just give her that chance, as it will destroy what was the conservative base at the same time it floods the voting rolls with newly minted welfare supporting voters.

Yep, Hillary is a dyed-in-the-wool socialist. Knew it all along. She’s totally out of the closet now.

Socialism, though, isn’t taking a dollar I’ve earned and giving it to someone who hasn’t earned it. It’s taking $5 from me, and giving 50 cents to someone who hasn’t earned it. The rest is kept by bloated government bureaucrats who wish to enlarge their power.

‘Animal Farm’ should be REQUIRED reading for all high school students. All these years later, the phrase “..all animals are equal, but pigs are more equal..” still goes through my mind when I read these kinds of statements.

She’s more Stalinist then Stalin.

Very scary that this country would even think of electing this monstrous evil.

I don't get my paycheck and walk down the street giving it away.

Why should I? There's enough Democrats and now Republicans who do that for me!

I just happen to be reading Atlas Shrugged right now. It's amazing that this is still going on 50 years after a book was written about what socialism/communism would look like in action in the US.

Hillary has just buried her own run for the Presidency.

Now it is up to her opposition to use all her stuff against her.

Between this and her “We will take things from you” speech, she should be toast.

Well, somebody has to turn the heat on to make the toast...
I'm holding my breath for all the Republican heat to take action, hope I don't turn blue waiting.

“Mrs. Clinton said it’s time to replace President Bush’s “ownership society,” which she called an “on your own” society, with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity.”

This is Orwellian Hillary-speak. I can just hear the Heinous Harridan chuckling right now, “If I say it this way, the sheeple won’t know I’m a communist — just looking out for their best interests, doncha know.”

Be afraid, folks, be VERY afraid!!

I have been just stunned that the challenges we see in the education system were around more than 50 years ago, even before post-modernism hit our shores.

One of the core beliefs of ultra-libs like Hillary is that Americans are too stupid to run their lives by themselves. (Of course the Dem elites won’t phrase it that way, but deep down that’s what they feel.) That’s where people like Hillary come in. They’ll help the stupid people out by taking their money and telling them what to do.

"sharing

My idea if for all the Dems and libs who constantly whine about the "unfortunates" is to pool their resources and donate a portion of their money to those same "unfortunates". It's a win-win-win situation. The unfortunates get more free sustenance, and the libs feel good about themselves. And we get to stop having to listen to their whining.

And so many of the voting sheep (including the illegals) see nothing wrong with her ideas...especially since they are the ones that will benefit!

She’s a genius. Put an end to home ownership and build some more ugly, crime infested projects, instead.

Mrs. Clinton said she prefers a “we’re all in it together” society. If she’s running it, I want out alltogether...
