Observer fears Islamic takeover of France imminent

A U.S. national defense expert and Pentagon advisor says that, even with the election of Nicolas Sarkozy as France's new president, it may already be too late to stop the eventual Islamic takeover of that country and much of Western Europe.

Lt. Col. Bob McGinnis (U.S. Army-Ret.) has spent a great deal of time in Europe and has been concerned with the growing Islamic influence on the continent. Although with the election of Sarkozy the French people have turned to someone who plans tougher measures on immigration, Maginnis fears it already may be too late.

"It probably is too late for Great Britain and France and maybe even the Netherlands and Germany," the military advisor contends. "They have very sizeable minorities that refuse to integrate, that impose Sharia law on the ghettos, and as a result have created what I think is a series of smaller countries within a country," he says.

With a high Islamic fertility rate and "notoriously low" fertility rates among indigenous members of the population, these "little islands of ghettos of Islamic Sharia law" are going to continue to expand and eventually engulf the culture of the region, Maginnis asserts.

"And that's what Sarkozy in France is concerned about," the retired Army officer says, "but I'm just not sure that they're going to be able to get everyone in the right direction to reverse this trend."

Sarkozy has promised to deal with France's Islamic situation, but Maginnis is not optimistic the new president can turn things around.

We're headed in the same direction.

I’d like to think that they would have a real fight on their hands here.

Lt. Col. Bob McGinnis (U.S. Army-Ret.)

Not to diss the retired Lt Col, but I’ll start panicking when I see some higher ranking retired officers start to weight in.

I tend to agree. I’m sort of tired of all of these ‘experts’ telling us with confidence what the future holds. Maybe when they win the Powerball lottery two times in a row I’ll lend them some credence.

Lt. Col. Bob McGinnis (U.S. Army-Ret.) has spent a great deal of time in Europe but never learned about guns, or what they can do. A growing problem within our officer corps - hence Haditha. Stuffed shirts that understand how to manuever through politics to a promotion prise, but utterly unable to function in war. Pathetic.

Abrams in gulf war

WE have more and more of these people who cannot comprehend military conflict and victory in combat. The left wing mantra that victory is not a strategy is what these people honestly believe. And I ran into a belly full of them even in the Marines.

Not to throw water on your point, but most higher ranking officers got there by playing politics. Many are, in fact, political animals.

Good question, Tom.

Europeans need to read a lot of Spanish history so they won't be surprised when the muslims begin boiling the men in oil, chopping off their heads and raping their young daughters.

Come to think of it, perhaps many of our elite (stupid) political class need to read history as America is under attack from two fronts: South of The Border and our increasing muslim population.

The thing about Koran readers is that they are in two categories:

(a) Those who strap on the explosives and wade into crowds of innocent people.

(b)Those who contribute to those brave men who die while killing others then flit on their way to imbecile heaven to meet virgins.

No doubt the French have some understanding of how the Algerians got rid of an invader.

First you take some plastique. Then you start blowing people up.

In the end Charles DeGaulle gives up.

I’d like to think that they would have a real fight on their hands here.

They might have had one decades (or eons) ago.

With politically correct pansies running us and our country I doubt if anything significant will be said or done.

Contrast the Minneapolis that I, and my ancestors, grew up in with today and I would strongly agree with you. The entire area is overrun with Somalians and non-English speaking south Americans. Utterly overrun.

Would you like to live in an America that was 80% muslim?
How about 50%?
30%?
20%?

What % is acceptable and how would you keep the numbers at or below that percent?

I say if large percents of muzzies are not acceptable, why are any?
