DOVER, N.H. (AP) - Mitt Romney's visit to New Hampshire started on a sour note Tuesday when a restaurant patron declared he would not vote for the Republican presidential contender because of his faith.
"I'm one person who will not vote for a Mormon," Al Michaud of Dover shouted at Romney when the former Massachusetts governor approached him inside Harvey's Bakery. Romney was kicking off the second of two day's worth of campaign visits in the lead primary state.
Romney kept smiling as he asked, "Can I shake your hand anyway?"
Michaud replied, "No."
Michaud later told reporters he was not "a right-winger," alluding to some evangelical Christians who have compared Romney's faith to a cult. Instead, Michaud stated he was "a liberal."
He said he planned to vote for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., should she win the Democratic presidential nomination.
If elected, Romney would be the first Mormon to serve in the White House.
When all esle fails, attack his religion. Would they attack his faith if he were muslim?
I don’t agree with the guy but saying what you think is better than smiling, shaking his hand, and keeping your thoughts silent. Too much self sensorship going on.
No. They’d be celebrating it.
He should try that with Barack Hussein if he wants headlines.
“Al Michaud of Dover”
Al however is voting for Obama since he is a muslim.
You cannot make this stuff up.
$10 says that this guy is a Masshole.
He won't vote for a Mormon...
...instead he'll vote for Satan herself.
JMHO
“He said he planned to vote for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., should she win the Democratic presidential nomination.” ........... Bet this guy is on the receiving end of “free stuff”.
The guy wasn’t trying to get headlines. He was minding his own business in a restaurant.
I won’t knowingly vote for:
A) Rino
B) Bostonian
C) Mormon
D) All of the above.

This is news ... how? I mean, other than pointing out the prejudice and meanness of a Hillary voter.
That used to be known as having good manners, but we don't have manners anymore do we?
So he wouldnt vote for a Republican anyways, but still took the opportunity to make a complete a$$hole of himself...
Another thought: Someone should ask this liberal if it was acceptable to have a Mormon Senate majority leader.
:-)
Unlike the MSM, which hasn't yet reported this story. Outside of the MyWay news site you referenced, and Fox News, there has been no mention of this story by ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, or MSNBC.
They're waiting for an evangelical to say this.
The Republicans will have to do better than Romney. Please, no cult members in the White House.
Exactly I bet he would kiss hussein obamas a-s and the headline should be Bigot insults Romney
