Apparently everyone on the Saudi plane goes western as the plane crosses the border ( at 30,000 feet ? ) and then goes Saudi on the return flight at the border.
The pilot must announce it ?

The pilot must announce it ?That's what I've heard as well. In-flight alcohol service is also apparently affected by the location in airspace.
