-- President Bush likes a serene White House most Sundays. Every now and then, though, he is ready for rumble. Leaders of Rolling Thunder, the motorcycling group that raises awareness about missing veterans, roared right up the mansion's driveway this Sunday. Bush, just back from a weekend at Camp David, stood alone outside the South Portico to meet them.
No Memorial Day weekend in the capital is complete without the ritualistic rumble of Rolling Thunder. For 20 years now, the nonprofit group has led a ''Ride for Freedom'' along the National Mall, a full-throttle demonstration in support of soldiers held captive or missing in action.

Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -Manuel II Paleologus
Wicked pissah bump.
Rolling Thunder ping (sorry I am late— this is what happens when I type with a half a cup of coffee)
Elect Rolling Thunder members to fill all U.S. House and Senate seats! Let’s throw in the President, Vice President and Cabinet, as well.
Good morning, Mrs. Nooseman.
LOL
I thought that I would need more time this morning, but it’s amazing how quickly I can get ready on a non work day
WASHINGTON (AP) - The rumblings of motorcycles are part of the D-C Memorial Day tradition, and about 300-thousand bikers participated in the Rolling Thunder parade earlier today.
The 20th annual event started early at the Pentagon and proceeded to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and then around the National Mall.
That first picture with the Marine standing in the median saluting just tears me up. I love what Rolling Thunder does.
