Strange, I didn’t have a problem understanding what he said. And my hearing is shot to smithereens - the result of having managed a VERY LOUD rock band in my youth.
Admittedly, my hearing is not what it used to be, but I would like to know what Fred Thompson said in this speech. Could you please answer my question? Thank you.
Absolutely infuriating - but very effective if you're a libRat - not only that = but was there no zoom on that camera - the worst gol dang piece of taping I've seen in a long time. It couldn't be worse if it were deliberate

Did you listen? To the entire thing? The silverware and plates clattering in the beginning made it difficult to hear, but it got much better after the first few minutes.
He’ll start laying out his solutions after he announces- for now- he’s laying out the problems he sees...

I was getting ready to post some highlights from the speech until I read your snippy post. That demanding attitude of yours will get you exactly nothing from me. I am not your bloody reseach assistant. If you want a transcript, I suggest you try to find yourself one.
Make that “research” assistant.
The lack of a zoom and the “off mike” characteristic of the sound make me suspect someone in the audience recorded the speech on their cell phone camera, maine-iac7. They certainly weren’t plugged into the PA system. If that’s the case, I’m amazed that the quality of the recording is as good as it is.
