They are holding “mass deportations” up as some kind of bogeyman to shut off argument.

Its a straw-bogeyman.

Secure the border, so that you cut off the flow of new border-jumpers, and enforce the law. You’ll have, not “mass deportations”, but a slow-but-steady flow of home-goers who are deporting themselves as their options here dry up.

It won’t happen over night, but if you stop the constant influx it doesn’t matter if it takes a year or 5 years, the key is securing the border and stopping the newcomers. Do that, and the rest will take care of itself. This isn’t as big a deal as they make it out to be.

I’m sick of listening to government tell us what they can’t do. They sure as hell didn’t have any trouble making the mess in the first place.

Another piece of c—p in their argument is that if 12 million leave, there won’t be anybody to do the work they’re doing. How about the hundreds of thousands sitting in state and federal jails who are watching t.v., joining gangs, and pumping iron? If they can pump iron, they can pick lettuce. The money they’re paid can help compensate the taxpayer for their upkeep.

Hell, if we could close the borders to Syria and Iran we would crush the insurgency within weeks. I am afraid that the administration lacks the will to close borders either here or there.
