“He actually dreamed all of that up. I wouldnt believe Arlen Specter if my life depended on it.”
My point exactly. He’s a jerk and a deceiver.

Oswald qualified with a Garand, not an M-14, and once scored a 48 and 49 out of a possible 50, rapid fire, 200 yards. He was also known to hunt as a civilian.

He actually dreamed all of that up. I wouldn't believe Arlen Specter if my life depended on it.
Why people would believe him back then just boggles the imagination. We didn't. As soon as the Report came out lots of people started writing letters to the editors about Specters idiotic single bullet theory, - and its other major flaws.
In '64, I wrote one pointing out the fact that the autopsy entrance holes in the back of JFKs 'neck' do not line up with the holes in his shirt and jacket.
Many years later it was admitted that his back wound was made to appear higher to conform with the path of Specters 'single bullet'.

I was in my 30’s...watched all the coverage on TV at
the time...before all the theories, and MSM got their
act together, which was the “grassy Knoll” thing,
which is the basis for this crap being reviewed
for ever..Sorry...Oswalt was the type that would not
know how to organize anything except his own little
brain for the assassination...period.!!!!!! JK

One other question has always bothered me. Why would an ex marine choose that bolt action rifle instead of an M1 Garand Model D. That was the sniper version of the Garand and had a scope on it. It would have been a far superior weapon and a weapon that Oswald was familiar with. There is no doubt that Oswald was a shooter. Why did Sirhan choose a .22 when a .357 would have been so much better? Why did Hinckley choose a .22 when an Uzi would have been just the trick? Oswald used what he had. He was poor and it was cheap. What's more he bought it long before JFK even thought about coming to Dallas and had already used it in an attempt to kill General Walker.

Speaking of brains you misspelled Oswald.

Post to myself.
Actually at the distance he was shooting an open sight Garand or M-14 would have been the superior weapon to use. You could acquire the target much quicker for second and third shots. With a Garand I can put 8 shots in a 5 inch circle at 100 yards shooting rapid fire. About a second between shots. Oswald was shooting at a lesser distance. The scope on his rifle would actully make the shots more difficult.

With secret service there,,,,lots of police,,,and literally hundreds and hundreds of people in Dealey Plaza,,,
I just cannot understand how SOMEONE couldn't help but notice someone aiming or pointing a rifle out of that window.
I am NOT a conspiracy theorist at all, and I realize that most of the attention was on the motorcade--but it is just hard to imagine that SOMEONE didn't see something unusual sticking out of that window, and say, "Hey, look at that rifle pointing out of the window"!

Read V. Bugliosi's Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy. While it didn't have to change my mind... it just might redirect yours.

Some people did see Oswald and the rifle but assumed it was police or Secret Service.

New testing on the type of ammunition used in the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy raises questions about whether Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone Actually the study doesn't do anything of the sort but what it does do is pretty boring stuff.

I just downloaded the audiobook last night.
I am no Kennedy fan, and I admit to not being all that concerned with whether it was a conspiracy or not, because we are never going to know.
But I do love history, and Buglosi’s book ‘And The Sea Will Tell” was pretty good. Interesting story, that one.
